Sony Xperia J launched in India for Rs 18,399

Officially unveiled at IFA in August alongside the Xperia T and Xperia V, the Xperia J is a decidedly mid-range Android smartphone that Sony mobile has launched in India. Priced at Rs 18,399, the Android 4.0 smartphone combines a 9.2mm slim profile in a package that offers mid-range specs.
The Xperia J packs in a 4-inch display with a resolution of 854×480 pixels, a 1GHz single-core processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot, 5-megapixel camera, a VGA front-facing camera and a 1,750 mAh battery.
Sony says that it will be upgradable to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, but that update will only come next year.

Sony Xperia SL launched in India for Rs 32,549

Sony has launched the Xperia SL Android smartphone in India for Rs 32,549. The Xperia SL is essentially an upgraded version of the Xperia S that was launched in April.
Physically, the Xperia SL is quite similar to the Xperia S, but underneath the hood it runs on a faster dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 processor clocked at 1.7GHz, 1GB of RAM, a 4.3-inch display with a resolution of 1280×720 pixels, NFC, 32GB of storage and a 12-megapixel camera and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing.
The Sony Xperia SL runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and has a 1,750 mAh battery.

iBall Slide 3G 7334: Another Android ICS Dual SIM Budget Tablet Launched at Rs 10,999

While the Indian tablet market is haunted with budget Android tablets from several manufacturers, iBall has launched today one more budget Android ICS tablets dubbed as iBall Slide 3G 7334 priced at Rs 10,999. Claimed by the company to be the first dual-sim tablet in the country iBall Slide 3G 7334 also has a built-in FM transmitter and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) out-of-box.
Further, iBall Slide 3G 7334 will come packed with Cortex A9 1GHz processor and a 2.0MP camera on the back along with a VGA camera on the front. Operating on 3G networks, the tablet will boast a 7-inch HD WSVGA capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and supports multi-touch accompanied with A-GPS.
Commenting on the launch of iBall Slide 3G 7334 tablet, Director of iBall, Sandeep Parasrampuria, commented, “We are heartened at iBall to present yet another innovation and latest technology for the Indian consumers with the launch of performance series tablet PC iBall Slide 3G 7334.

Further, the tablet will hit the retail stores with an 8GB built-in memory, extendable to up to 32 GB with a microSD card, Wi-Fi capability, USB ports, and a host port. Moreover, iBall Slide 3G 7334 will also come pre-loaded with apps including Whatsapp, Facebook, Nimbuzz, Zomato, IBNLive, Moneycontrol, and CricketNext.

Zync Z1000: Android ICS, 9.7 Inch HD Display Tablet Launched at Rs 11,000

Almost with each passing day, the Indian consumer market is witnessing new product launches from the low cost device manufacturers in order to secure a great part of the market share in the wallet-friendly low cost device’s category. Following on the similar lines, Zync Global Private Limited, an India based budget tablet vendor has today unleashed company’s first 9.7-inch tablet, upgradable to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean) – the Zync Z1000.
Taking a look at the price points, Zync Z1000 will cost around Rs. 10,990 and will be available for purchase from reputed online retailers including Flipkart, Homeshop18, Naaptol, Snapdeal, Indiatimes and Infibeam, as informed by the company officials.
Further the company’s press release also mentioned that Zync Z1000 is based on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out-of-the-box but is upgradable to Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The tablet has a 9.7-inch 5-point multi-touch capacitive HD display with 1024 x 768-pixel resolution. This device can access the internet via 3G as well as Wi-Fi networks. The tablet comes with freebies worth Rs. 1350 inside the box with add-on practical accessories, such as lycra pouch, screen protector, ear phones and a month-long subscription of BigFlix.
Ashish Garg, Director, Zync Global Private Limited on the launch of the device said, “This is our first attempt of launching a tablet with a multi-touch HD display with a higher screen resolution with a face-unlocking feature. As of now, the product is running on 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich but it can be upgraded onto the latest 4.1 Jellybean platform in the coming months.”
Powered by a 1.5GHz processor, Zync Z100 runs on an ARM Cortex A8 processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The tablet has a front and rear camera of 0.3MP and 2.0MP resolution, respectively, and comes with 8GB onboard memory, which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. The other features include 7,000mAh battery, miniHDMI and microUSB ports, TF card and DC port. Further, the company has also loaded this tablet with applications including Ibibo, Hungama and other social networking websites like Facebook and more.
