CANADIAN PHONE MAKER, Research In Motion (RIM) has announced its latest phone, the Blackberry Curve 9320.
The handset is a budget addition to RIM's line of
phones, comes with a 2.44inch non-touch display, a 3.2MP camera and the
typically-styled Curve QWERTY keyboard design. Other features include
Blackberry OS 7.1, up to 32GB of expandable memory, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity
and FM radio.This is the first handset in the Curve series to feature Wi-Fi
hotspot functionality.Notably, the Wi-Fi hotspot functionality would enable
Curve 9320 users to share internet with up to five different devices.
Another highlight of this smartphone is the dedicated
BBM button for instant access to BlackBerry Messenger.
It is expected that the BlackBerry Curve 9320 will again
fall under the budget smartphone category with an expected price tag of Rs
12,000 for the Indian market where it could be launched next month (June)
itself.
The mobile operator
let slip that the phone will be available to buy from 14 May, which means it
will arrive on shelves in the UK on Monday
